A Dark Breed
No good deed goes unpunished...

They free her. But she wasn't the prey.
She's the predator.
And she's not alone.
Avernus Island
Dan Avernus needed a fresh start, what he got was a curse.
The island was supposed to be a windfall—untouched land worth millions. But beneath the surface lies something ancient, vengeful, and tied to his bloodline.
Now his family is unraveling—haunted, hunted, and turning on each other. And the deeper Dan digs, the clearer it becomes:
Revenge doesn't die. It waits.
God of the Dead
And Hell followed with her…
Sixteen-year-old Hannah Ramirez wakes up bloodied, alone and haunted by the dead—and they’ve chosen her as their way back. As her body breaks down and a terrifying power takes hold, the spirits won’t let her go… and neither will the government hunting her.
The doorway is open. The dead are coming.
Fear Machine
Sleepers Awake
Thirty years ago, Bishop Kane sacrificed his daughter to stop the end of the world.
He thought it worked.
He was wrong.
Now undead and enslaved to a secret order, Kane is sent back to the town he tried to forget—where something monstrous is waking.
As the blizzard seals the town off from the world, the horrors Kane buried are clawing their way back.
He failed once.
He won’t get another chance.
The nightmare isn’t over. It’s just begun.
The Blood Singer
Dead men tell no tales...until now
Haden Church can speak to the dead—and possess their corpses to solve the mysteries they left behind. But when a ghost begs him to save a girl buried alive, he’s forced to strike a deal with the one entity he swore never to face again.

★★★★★"A deliciously terrifying tour de force of dark horror. Expertly crafted, wildly twisted, and powerfully original. Patrick McNulty is an author who makes me want to sleep with the lights on."- Seth Wimmer, screenwriter "Last God on Hell Mountain"
★★★★★"...mindblowingly fantastic! To put it another way, Patrick, you owe me a new night guard. I forgot I was wearing it and clamped down during a certain part of the book and bit it in half. I kid you not! I told my husband he was on his own for dinner and feeding the dog and finished it in 3 hours. The characters are well developed, the storyline grips you by the throat, and you feel like you're on the best rollercoaster you've ever ridden!"- Kristina, ARC review
★★★★★"If I could give this book a million stars, I would. I was given a beta-version of this book. So I got to read it before it came out. Not only did I finish this at a record speed, but this book has been on my mind every day since finishing it. I loved this book so much, that I also purchased the digital version that came out. (I want to just read it again and again and see if I can spot any differences). If you like horror, you will love it. If you want to try horror for the first time, this is the perfect start!I If you hate horror, try it anyway, because if this book can't change your mind, no book will!"- Evelyn, Goodreads review ★★★★★
"This book was such an insane and incredible ride! Read as an ARC and finished in one sitting, I could not put it down. It plays out like the best horror/thriller movie. This book has made me an instant super fan and I can't wait for more! Top book of 2023 and top 5 ever. A book I cannot stop raving about."- Erika, Goodreads review ★★★★★

"THIS WAS AWESOME!! If you have nails, you're gonna bite them! If you have a seat, you're gonna be on the edge of it! If you have a cabin in the mountains, may as well sell up now because you're never going back there! Patrick Mcnulty has delivered a fast, brutal story of one family's fight for survival in A Dark Breed. It's dark, it's gory and it's bleak but oh boy is it good!"- LeighReads, Goodreads review ★★★★★

Sleep Awake and God of the Dead the only ones left for me ti read. Read all the others.

I devoured this quick read in one sitting. Kids on bikes and creepy abandoned house, sign me up! Will read anything this author writes.

A house where it shouldn’t be. Fear Machine is an enjoyable short horror story that worth a read.

Billy finds a house that shouldn't be there. This house is special. It is very hungry. Frightening

Fear Machine
Patrick is hands-down one of my favorite authors of all time. His storytelling? Absolutely masterful. He’s incredibly descriptive, but never in a way that feels overwhelming. He creates this slow, creeping dread, an uneasiness that settles in your chest and just lingers. I don’t know how he does it, but every time I pick up one of his books, I’m left in awe. He’s not one of those authors who plateaus… He somehow gets better with every story.
Okay, enough of me fan-girling.. let’s talk about Fear Machine.
This one is a short read, just 50 pages, but it grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go. It’s bizarre, unsettling, and downright eerie. I can’t tell if the discomfort comes from the fact that the story centers around a 12-year-old boy, or if it’s just the way Patrick writes but either way, it works! I kept trying to predict what was going to happen, and I was wrong. Every. Single. Time.
So let me ask you this:
If you stumbled across a house that wasn’t supposed to be there… would you go inside?
No?
What if something you loved was in there?
Fear Machine is strange, sharp, and full of creeping dread, and I loved every page of it. Five stars, easily. If you’re looking for a quick horror story that’ll haunt your brain long after you finish, this is it.

Somethings should be left lost. Billy Mathers was an average 12 year old. Having his bike stolen made life a little harder. One day while walking the shortcut home that he'd walked a hundred times he sees something that couldn't possibly be there. A house. A creepy dilapidated house. Intense thunder and lightning push him farther towards the house and inside Billy sees his stolen bike. Entering the house is a big mistake. This is a quick but horrifying read. Grab yourself a copy and emerge yourself in a nightmare.

A Dark Breed is a fast paced, creature feature that had me racing to the end. And that ending!! I can't wait to read more from McNulty

I loved "A Dark Breed" and I never read fiction!!! It is so descriptive and detailed - like I can paint the cinematic picture in my head. :)

Consistently scares the living daylights out of me.
A genuine master of his craft.
Make every effort to read Patrick’s work - you will not be disappointed
