A high stake heist high in the sky and a relentless killer by the name of Redd and the chase is on! Danny somehow survives a series of impossible scenarios. Danny Devlin is an intriguing and compelling hero not the impervious every move is perfect type. The fight scenes are well choreographed and well described throughout the novel. Totally captivating!

I sat down with the Enemy Within by Patrick McNulty and had the hardest time last night putting it down. As soon as I could I grabbed it back up and fell into this crazy, scary thrill ride. You have got to read this new #2 book in the Danny Devlin Thriller Series. It will not only keep you breathless and on your toes it will carry you through the whole crazy thrill ride of your life!So Danny Devlin, formerly Navy Seal, survived the last mission with his hands destroyed and needing to be rebuilt. A private company hired him for different missions and it paid very well. This mission was to Brazil where he was to hide in a crate locked into it, loaded on an airplane until in the air, then he was to sneak out and break into a safe that was built to explode if tampered with.So, not telling the story but leaving it a mystery like it was to me. Grab this book right away and enjoy the whole book like I did.
Patrick has brought a fun, white-knuckled thrill ride of a story to us again. In the second Danny Devlin book, we see Danny being jerked from his paradise in Greece to stow away on a cargo plane to retrieve a special key. He finds out quickly that the people that he's going against in this one, won't be an easy match. The story starts off hot with the intro of Rudy a larger-than-life man that is hiding the secret key that everyone is after. It doesn't slow down from that point on and is an intense, action-packed read. The hits keep on coming and your adrenaline won't stop pumping. Can't wait for the next installment in this series.
Great book! Fun story that was interesting and entertaining. Danny Devlin is a great protagonist and the narration was solid.

Brilliant.This book contains about sixty horror flash fiction stories of a thousand words or less from a selection of authors, which means you can easily pick it up whenever you a few spare minutes, or to while away a boring commute to work.Highly recommended.

Great story! Slow burn at the start but most definitely worth the wait. Great characters and story concept. Very well done. Will definitely read more from the author.
Wow, Avernus Island 🏝️💀 was freaking fantastic!! It grabs a hold of you from the beginning and does not let go!! You will fine yourself reading between your fingers as you try to cover your eyes from seeing what is going to happen next and holding your breath from time to time rooting for the characters. You will be jumping at the littlest of sounds in the middle of the night, and you will never be able to look at a puddle of water the same way. I absolutely loved AI 🏝️💀, and trust me it had some big shoes to fill after reading the first book A Dark Breed in “The Monsters and Mayhem Collection”. I can’t wait to see what is next in the collection of complete freaking amazingness by Patrick McNulty. His writing style is incredible. There is not a dull moment in his storytelling. You will find yourself invested and enthralled and staying up reading late into night to read just one more chapter and then wanting to read it all over again. Both books are just that good. Keep them coming Patrick McNulty you sir are a wicked genius. So please keep weaving those tales. I’ll always and forever be giving forests, puddles and dead bare trees the side eye!!
I received this book as an Arc from the author and I’m writing a review because I want to. This is pure unadulterated horror. A man inherits an island that’s been in his family. He’s hoping it will be a godsend financially. It’s not. Recommended
