A different kind of horror and lots of action. I really enjoyed reading hopefully we'll read more about Bishop. Great character.

This book was really good. Written as a screenplay, and I would have loved this movie. It’s got a lot of action. The characters are well developed and so is the town. You really get a good picture of the villains and the town. The villains are pretty original too. It’s gruesome at times and heartbreaking at others. It’s got everything a good horror story should have!

Reminds me of 30 days of night.
This book never becomes slow or boring. Small town lead to tragedy and death. Always expected the unexpected. Simple life not always simple. Death can strike at anytime. Would you want eternity to be on the good side or the bad. The gifts of the dead are tempting.

They had not returned.Jessica Walters (daughter), told Ruth Walters (wife/mother), & Billy Walters (husband/father) there was a woman outside the house.Billy found Petra unresponsive, cold/shivering.What deep dark secrets does she hold?What must Bishop Kane do?The creature roared as it came through the window. This could also make another great paranormal movie, or better yet a mini TV series. Patrick has brought a fun, white-knuckled thrill ride of a story to us again. In the second Danny Devlin book, we see Danny being jerked from his paradise in Greece to stow away on a cargo plane to retrieve a special key. He finds out quickly that the people that he's going against in this one, won't be an easy match. The story starts off hot with the intro of Rudy a larger-than-life man that is hiding the secret key that everyone is after. It doesn't slow down from that point on and is an intense, action-packed read. The hits keep on coming and your adrenaline won't stop pumping. Can't wait for the next installment in this series.
