Revolution

Jessica had desperately needed the day at the beach.

After spending the past month trying to get her OnlyFans off the ground, the signs were starting to show that she may have a future in content creation. Making funny reactions and hot-takes in her bikini for adoring fans, she finally managed to crack 250 followers in the month through a constant stream of filming, promoting, and engaging with fans desperate to connect with her.

Sure, some were there hoping to see her naked, but that was the price to pay for being on the site. All of her content was of her being in a bikini, so that was more than expected. As well, with her social media posts advertising the site with plenty of risque-looking bikini shots, it looked like she was potentially keeping the goods censored unless they subscribed.

But those who stayed past the subterfuge got to see her sense of humor and conventional takes, which made her feel much better.

And now that her hustling was starting to work out, a day at the beach was her reward. Taking the day off, she heads down to the beach, bikini in hand, and a special lounge chair that she had bought with her first subscriptions collected. Her bag, containing a water bottle, sunscreen, phone, make-up, and a Kindle loaded with her favorite cozy murder mystery thrillers, dangled from her shoulder as she searched for the perfect spot.

Finally spotting a nice spot overlooking the point where the waves crashed against the shore, she set everything up and proceeded to enjoy her well-earned vacation. Getting the chair set up, taking a couple of selfies, with her feigning to drink water or put sunscreen on, and then pulling her Kindle out to start her next novel in the queue.

Getting lost in her book for several minutes, she realizes she forgot to post one of the selfies she just took. Going back through her camera roll, she tries to decide which of her water-drinking pictures to upload when she notices something strange in the second picture. A massive crab claw is quite easy to spot in the sand behind, looking like it was coming for her behind her chair.

Looking behind her, there’s no crab claw or even a crab back there, but a series of strange marks moving to the left side of the beach trails off into the distance. It was like no other animal track she had ever seen before, and thinking better of it, Jessica’s curiosity got the better of her. She got up and followed the tracks down the beach to a small cove by an outcropping of rocks bordering a cliff above. There, she witnesses something that freezes her blood cold.

A massive crab, bigger than she is, walks out of a cave in the cliffside, presiding over a gathering of other, slightly smaller crabs as if a king is lording over his subjects. There must be hundreds of such crabs before her surrounding the massive one. Ranging in size and color but clearly of the same species, they froze her solid to that spot.

After a series of chittering cries and a final motion of his claw, the massive crab points over to the spot on the beach where Jessica was standing, almost by accident, as it just then notices her standing there. Immediately turning to leave, she tries to head back to her car but is tripped up before making it, and finds herself dragged back to the cave where the king crab starts pulling her apart with it’s massive claws.

As she’s ripped limb from limb, blood draining out of the numerous wounds left from her missing limbs, the screams for help not only falling on deaf ears but losing urgency quickly, Jessica doesn’t know it yet but she’ll be the first victim of the crab revolution.
